As 2023 comes to an end, your donations still make an impact
Women often experience domestic abuse or violence on or around major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, and even Super Bowl Sunday. Many victims are unable to escape, in spite of the holidays being a time of family reunions, warm conversations, and and generosity. For those who can, SPR is here to help with transportation, emergency housing and more.
Help ensure SPR can provide the very best service possible.
Provides a victim with a bus pass for one month. To be able to transfer buses, the cost of the pass increases to $113.

Provides a victim and up two children a safe, private hotel room for one night (average stay is one week).

Provides a victim (and children) a gas gift card for a week.

Provides a victim and two children with a grocery gift card that will feed them for one week.

04 - SPONSOR AN EVENT
Volunteers must be 18years of age or older and are required to complete a background check.
Opportunities include:

Office: Administrative and data entry

Emergency Needs Pantry: Stocking and Organization

Special Events: Variety of roles from setup and clean up, to planning support and registration desk support.

Outreach: These volunteers participate in outreach training. They can then help us run workshops, , staff information booths, and once approved, become a speaker.
